Buildly is a cutting-edge platform that empowers users to design websites and applications effortlessly using AI-powered customization tools. With Buildly, even non-technical users can create aesthetically pleasing, fully functional digital products without needing coding or design expertise.
OVERVIEW
I led the end-to-end design process from problem framing and UX strategy to interface design and MVP delivery. I collaborated closely with the engineering team to define core workflows, interaction models, and a scalable design system that balances creative freedom with practical constraints.
The goal was not to replace designers or developers, but to reduce the gap between idea and execution, enabling users to move from concept to usable product faster and with greater confidence.

THE OPPORTUNITY
How might we create a platform that allows users to design websites and applications with minimal effort, leveraging AI while maintaining creative flexibility. Many existing platforms for website and app creation, such as Dora AI and Wix, cater to users but often fall short in one or more areas.
Here How Buildly simplifies website and application creation by using AI-powered design tools to turn user prompts into fully customizable, professional-grade designs. By integrating an intuitive design system and seamless customization features, Buildly eliminates technical barriers, enabling users to create visually stunning outputs efficiently and with ease.
PROCESS
I started by interviewing users, reviewing existing shopping behaviours, and mapping their pain points. What became clear was that confidence and trust were bigger issues than lack of information.
